An exhaust system incorrectly matched to the flow resistance, capacity, working principles and engine power may contribute to the weakening of the performance of the drive unit. This, in turn, may result in reduced power and torque of the engine with simultaneously increased fuel consumption, and in extreme cases may lead to overheating of the engine, shortening its life and the need for an overhaul.

Gearbox
There are two types of gearboxes in modern cars – manual and automatic. To operate a manual transmission, the following components are required: clutch, clutch pedal and shift lever. The clutch is responsible for transferring power from the engine to the gearbox. This is done by a clutch disc whose surface is made of a material also used in the lining of the brake shoes. Over time, the surfaces of the clutch disc wear out – so the disc should be replaced regularly.
Clutch wear depends on many factors. We can recognize a worn clutch when:
- there are difficulties with changing gears or throwing into the so-called “Gear Thrust Clearances”
- the engine revs increase but the speed does not change
- it is difficult to climb the hill
- There is a burning smell inside the car
DPF Filter replacement is no longer necessary. For the customer, this means lower costs and, at the same time, increased customer satisfaction. The cleaning agent is injected directly through the available openings onto the particulate filter. There, it dissolves the accumulated soot, which is then burned as part of the regeneration program manually started in the car.
If diesel cars are driven mainly for short distances, the diesel particulate filter in the exhaust system is never or rarely warm enough to burn off the accumulated soot particles.
The result: the diesel particulate filter becomes clogged.
In this case, a regeneration program is automatically activated during which more fuel is injected to generate a higher temperature. However, during certain engine operations, such as in city traffic or long traffic jams, regeneration is not possible.
Modern suspension and steering consist of many components that should be checked periodically. Damaged shocks, springs, bushings, pins, control arms, or other steering and suspension components can cause poor vehicle control, uneven tire wear, knocking noises, ineffective braking, and uncomfortable handling, which can lead to complete loss of vehicle control.
Car windows, replacement.
Precision, reliability, punctuality of services and professionalism combined with the experience are the strong points of our company. We provide services in the field of repair, regeneration and replacement of windows in various types of vehicles.
Car Air conditioningAir conditioning in the car is a device whose task is to improve the comfort of travelling. In addition to the function of cooling the heated interior of the car, an important action is to accelerate the process of demisting the windows in the car.
Roadside assistance – car towing. We have a recovery tow truck to transport cars. We transport cars in the UK and abroad.
Engine oil changeWe will help you choose the best oil for your car and then replace it efficiently. During an oil change as part of a free inspection, we will check:
- level and freezing point of the coolant
- brake fluid level and quality
- engine tightness
- air filter
- wiper blades
Fault testers, commonly known as diagnostic computers, are becoming common equipment in car workshops of all kinds. There is no escape from it – modern cars are simply stuffed with electronic controllers. Most of the works require their diagnosis, and this applies to both work on the engine power supply system or the braking system, as well as classic mechanical repairs.
If any irregularities are detected, a lamp lights up on the car’s dashboard, signalling the need to visit a service station as soon as possible.
Check/Replace TyresTires have a big impact on driving safety because only they are in direct contact with the ground. It is worth making sure that they are properly inflated and balanced, and that the tread is not shallower than 1.6 mm.
A “bad” tyre grips the road worse, its braking distance is longer, and the risk of skidding on a wet surface increases.
- tyre change
- sale of tyres from various manufacturers
- wheel balancing
- tyre repair
Check-in spring and before winter:
- Battery
- Shock absorbers
- Cabin filter
- Fuel filter
- Air filter
- Brakes
- Wheel bearings
- Engine oil and oil filter
- Lighting
- V-belts
- Windshield washer fluid
- Brake and cooling fluids
- Rubber hoses
- High voltage wires
- Tyre condition and pressure
- Spark plugs
- Steering and suspension
- Exhaust system
- Wipers
- Replacement of suspension components
If you can hear knocking while driving on an uneven road, it is most likely a sign of worn steering or suspension components. For your safety and driving comfort, they should be replaced immediately. Check the condition of the shock absorbers at least once a year.
Shock absorbers are worn at 50% cause already at a speed of 50 km per hour, the braking distance is extended by 2 meters. With a wet surface and worn shock absorbers, you can skid at a speed of 81 km/h. Noise coming from a car wheel can be a sign of bearing wear. A worn bearing must be replaced immediately.
Its further use leads to damage to the wheel, and in extreme cases to its blocking, which may be the cause of a road accident:
- shock absorber replacement
- replacing the front and rear bearings
- replacement of the rubber joint cover
- replacement of the pin tip
- swingarm bushing replacement
- computer shock absorber test
3D Vehicle Geometry and Four-Wheel Alignment
Test of wheel alignment or full inspection of wheel suspension angles is not mandatory. But balancing the wheels also, and anyone who hasn’t done it after changing to summer tires knows that it is at least imprudent. And it’s not just about driving comfort and the shaking steering wheel at higher speeds. Driving safety and economy are important.
Incorrectly set wheel geometry affects not only comfort but above all driving safety. It is worth ordering a full inspection of wheels and suspension at least once a year.
- checking the geometry
- convergence alignment
- Alignment angles
- Vehicle Geometry and Four-Wheel Alignment
Car manufacturers recommend refilling the A/C system every 2 years, but this is usually not included in the regular MOT schedule.
About 10-15% of automotive air conditioning systems have a refrigerant leak every year, which means that if the vehicle is more than 2 years old, it needs to be refilled.
- refilling the air conditioning system
- checking the tightness of the system
- disinfection of the air conditioning system
- replacement of the cabin filter (anti-dust)
Regularly check the condition of the brakes and remember that the minimum thickness of the brake pad cannot be less than 2 mm. Overheated, too thin or uneven brake discs must be replaced immediately.
The brake pads must be replaced every time the discs are changed.
- replacement of pads
- disc replacement
- replacement of brake shoes
- replacement of cylinders
- cleaning the brake pads
- cleaning the brake shoes
